Dr. Jacqueline Johnson

Dr. Johnson is a board-certified canine and feline specialist, which means she has completed extensive additional training under some of the top veterinarians in the world. Passionate about advancing pain management, she is among the first cohort who are working to become Fellows in board-certified pain management.

Recognized as a top veterinarian in California, Dr. Johnson is deeply rooted in the Scripps Ranch community. Her goal is to bring cutting-edge treatments and technologies, previously only available at university hospitals, to local pets and their families.

As a specialist, Dr. Johnson uniquely provides high-quality same-day and urgent veterinary care through extensive experience collaborating with primary care veterinarians and other specialists. She carefully reviews your pet’s detailed medical history, including insights from you and your primary veterinarian, to ensure thorough, informed care.

Dr. Johnson coordinates closely with your primary veterinarian for seamless ongoing treatment. In complex cases requiring additional specialists, she personally leads and coordinates the entire veterinary team—ensuring your pet receives the comprehensive, advanced care typically only found in university hospitals, conveniently delivered right here in your neighborhood.

I’m a devoted pet owner. I also run a company that works with several hundred veterinary practices. I know what “good” looks like – from the front office to the back. This just might be San Diego’s best.

I’m discerning when choosing my vet. There are a few unique attributes with The InFURmary. Principally, I LOVE that Dr Johnson is board certified. Specialists go through extensive additional education, apprenticeship, and testing to ensure they’re the best of the best.

I also LOVE how focused they are on pain management. I’m super lucky that they’re a few minutes away from me. But honestly, for this level of care (and super reasonable pricing), I’d drive considerably further.
