We opened this hospital to help address that gap—making care more accessible by reducing travel time for pet owners and supporting time-sensitive cases. In every emergency, there are two patients: the animal and the person who brings them in. We’re here to care for both.

We provide emergency and urgent care for dogs, cats, and small mammals in Aroostook County and the surrounding region. Common concerns include:

  • Surgical Suite: For situations that need urgent intervention, from foreign object removal to emergency wound repair.
  • Oxygen Therapy and Hospitalization: If your pet needs extra support, we can stabilize them and monitor their care around the clock.
  • Comfort-Focused Housing: Species-specific kennels with soft lighting and built-in oxygen capabilities help animals feel safe and breathe easier.
  • Isolation Room with Its Own Entrance: Designed to protect other patients if your pet might be contagious.
  • On-Site Pharmacy: So you don’t have to hunt down a 24-hour pharmacy in the middle of in the middle of the night

We do require the emergency exam fee on arrival. After the exam, we’ll walk you through a detailed treatment estimate and do our best to work with you on payment options if needed.
