Dentistry
At Vance Veterinary we understand the importance and impact of dental disease on the health of your pet, and follow gold standards of practice as recommended by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Which is why we will offer full service care with digital dental radiography for detection of disease under the gumline, pain management, comprehensive anesthetic planning, oral health care evaluation and surgery which include tooth extraction as well as gingival flaps for optimal post extraction healing and comfort, as well as full oral exam to evaluate structures such as larynx and tonsils to screen for oral growths or disease.
Diagnostic Blood Panels

- Some health conditions in pets are not detectable during an external examination. For this reason, we recommend annual diagnostic blood testing to help us get an accurate picture of your pet’s overall health. We can process many test results on site, typically within minutes. This is especially beneficial for critical illness and injury cases that need prompt diagnosis and treatment.
- Tests that we perform on a routine basis include age-appropriate ancillary diagnostics such as blood pressure screening, complete blood screen (CBC, chemistry panels), heartworm tests, urinalysis, and fecal analysis.
- At Crestline Pet Care, we recommend annual diagnostic testing so that our veterinarians will have a continuous, complete medical history of your pet. Having a history of test results lets us know if there is a significant change that indicates an underlying condition or disease. This allows us to treat an illness in its early stages, giving your pet the best opportunity for recovery.
