This step is especially important in the treatment of stomatitis. Using an upward motion under the jaw forces the gums up over the teeth stimulating the follicles while loosening trapped dirt and debris and increasing the blood flow specific to these areas.

While there is no known cure for stomatitis, treatment with the ReJuvetnator aluminum barrel Ionic Electro Therapy attachment can reduce symptoms of redness and drooling.  Stomatitis lesions can be slowed or staved off completely, alleviating pain.
