Examine For
- Examine your pet for clumps, knots of fur (matting) or bumps under skin. This will determine pressure that you will use on these areas.
- Scabs or surface lesions can be torn off by brushing. so do not power brush over these areas until these areas have healed. Brush normally (without power feature) and gently here .
- Wet or oily areas of fur need brushing attention first. If you suspect that your pet has motor oil or antifreeze in their fur, DO NOT allow them to lick; immediately clean the area before using the ReJuvetnator Power Wand. After your pet is clean and dry, using the ReJuvetnator Power Wand brushes will equally re-distribute the natural oils throughout the fur.
- Missing fur or bare areas should be avoided, or a very light touch should be used. Use the ball-tipped brushes in these areas.
- Fur length should be less than the core barrel diameter of the brush being used. Loose or fatty skin can add length to the fur and get wrapped around the brush. The ReJuvetnator Power Wand will shut itself off if a tangle or “Wrap-up” occurs.
If any of the above are present, proceed with care.
