Dr. Tabitha Buyert grew up in Joliet, IL. She first worked as a kennel technician and veterinarian technician in various clinics starting at 16 years old. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology from Iowa State University in 2008. She continued working in the veterinary field and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2010. Furthering her education, Dr. Buyert obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2018. She has since gained experience across multiple practice specialties, including small animal, exotics, emergency and ICU. Her professional interests include ultrasound, exotic medicine, surgery including anesthesia, gastropexy and cosmetics repairs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, putting together puzzles, and relaxing with family and friends.
Trasan Pitcock spends her days serving as an Air Force Civilian Program Manager for the F-35 Program Office. She has spent the last 13 years managing multi-service and multi-national acquisitions and operations. She brings extensive leadership and business management experience to the practice.
A native of the Washington, D.C. metro area, Trasan has lived all over the country (12 moves in 20 years) and understands the struggle of finding the perfect fit veterinary clinic. Trasan and her husband share their home with three black cats.
