Anesthesia is often the greatest concern for pet owners, which is why we’ve built our protocols to exceed the highest standards. Under the oversight of our Board Certified Anesthesiologist, each plan is designed and reviewed for the safest, smoothest recovery possible. A licensed technician is individually assigned to your pet, staying by their side from induction to recovery. We use state-of-the-art anesthesia machines, warming tables and gurneys, warmed IV fluids, and patient blankets to maintain comfort and stability throughout the procedure.

Our multimodal approach includes local and regional nerve blocks as a standard of care for optimal comfort. Every TPLO patient receives targeted pain control, plus a custom comfort goodie bag with a Licksleeve and gel pack to support recovery at home. Even our surroundings are designed to reduce stress — with low-stress colors, calming music, and soothing pheromones that make the experience feel more like a spa day than a hospital visit.
