Kim Sambrato

Practice Manager

Kim was a veterinary technician for 10 years before transitioning into management. She worked in shelter medicine after graduating from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Colorado. Kim also has her bachelor of arts in Public Relations. She decided to trade her snowboard in for a fishing pole and moved to Florida in 2014 where she worked at a speciality and emergency hospital. Kim and her husband live in Cape Coral with their two dogs, a belly rub loving pit bull, and a bouncy boykin spaniel. When she is not at work you will find her trying out different dog sports or enjoying a day on the water.

In her free time, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and two dogs, Leo and Olaf. She embraces an outdoor lifestyle with hobbies like: gardening, shark tooth sifting, shelling, fishing, and boating.

Jonathan shivers

Veterinarian & Practice Owner

Dr. Shivers has loved veterinary medicine from the very beginning. Growing up in Miami, he cared for dogs, cats, orphaned squirrels, turtles, and hermit crabs. After getting his veterinary degree from the University of Florida, he began practice in Jacksonville, Fl. A desire to be closer to family and great fishing led him to Ft. Myers and Indian Creek. Dr. Shivers believes in having a high-quality, low-stress hospital that clients and their pets feel good about visiting. His favorite part of his job is interacting with our clients and pets. Dr. Shivers loves getting a sick pet back on its feet and playing at home again. In his spare time, he enjoys saltwater fishing, traveling, diving, and cooking. Dr. Shivers has two Catahoula hound dogs named Blu and Remy. He is happy to be here, where he can enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, beautiful gulf waters, and friendly residents of Ft. Myers.
