Services We Offer

Preventative Care

  • Wellness exam, vaccinations, parasite prevention
  • At Crestline Pet Care, we believe that a key factor to keeping your pet healthy and happy are bi-annual health examinations Regular physical exams help us establish an overall health profile of your pet and are useful for tracking trends and being aware of potential health problems before they become difficult and costly to treat. Routine check-ups can detect disease in the early stages, improving your pet’s ability to fight back.
  • Our wellness visits focus on preventative medicine based on the specific life-stage of your pet. Each patient is assessed individually according to factors such as species, breed, age, and environmental challenges. When your pet comes in for a wellness checkup, he or she will receive a comprehensive physical exam and age-appropriate diagnostics such as blood work, blood pressure screening, checks for parasites and early signs of disease. An exam is also an excellent time to discuss with us any changes in your pet’s health and behavior.
  • We offer recommendations for prevention and nutrition guidelines that are appropriate for your pet’s specific needs. We will develop preventative protocols for your pet regarding the best ways to control fleas and ticks in your house, your yard, and on your pet. We will provide guidance for your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, and performance.

Digital Radiology

  • This in-house diagnostic capability enables our veterinarians to safely and quickly assess the status of injuries or diseases that may be affecting your pet. It can be beneficial in helping to diagnose fractures, locate objects your pet may have swallowed, discover masses such as tumors, measure organ size for abnormalities, diagnose pneumonia, discover pregnancies, bladder stones, chronic arthritis, and some spinal cord diseases, to name a few.
  • Digital radiography is painless, safe, and completely non-invasive. It provides images much faster and with greater clarity than traditional x-rays. Digital images can be manipulated, enhanced, and contrasted, allowing our doctors to diagnose a condition quickly and accurately.

Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography is a non-invasive procedure that allows us to visualize internal body structures. This aids us in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients

Grooming

Our experienced professional pet groomer is dedicated to making sure your fur baby not just feels good but looks good too! Whether you request a full groom haircut, a neat and tidy to freshen up, or a bath, we’ll do our best to make sure your baby is comfortable and leaves looking cute!

Diagnostic Blood Panels

  • Some health conditions in pets are not detectable during an external examination. For this reason, we recommend annual diagnostic blood testing to help us get an accurate picture of your pet’s overall health. We can process many test results on site, typically within minutes. This is especially beneficial for critical illness and injury cases that need prompt diagnosis and treatment.
  • Tests that we perform on a routine basis include age-appropriate ancillary diagnostics such as blood pressure screening, complete blood screen (CBC, chemistry panels), heartworm tests, urinalysis, and fecal analysis.
  • At Crestline Pet Care, we recommend annual diagnostic testing so that our veterinarians will have a continuous, complete medical history of your pet. Having a history of test results lets us know if there is a significant change that indicates an underlying condition or disease. This allows us to treat an illness in its early stages, giving your pet the best opportunity for recovery.

Surgery

  • Crestline Pet Care provides routine surgical services including spays and neuters, a variety of soft tissue surgeries such as exploratory surgery, mass removals, as well as wound repairs, oral surgery, and more. We also offer TPLO orthopedic surgeries for ACL repairs.
  • To help ensure your pet’s safety, we offer bloodwork that allows us to screen each patient prior to surgery so that we can check for any abnormalities or conditions that may be problematic. This also enables us to tailor anesthetic protocols specifically for your pet. Additionally, we monitor your pet throughout surgery and recovery, we provide pre- and post-operative pain management to make sure your pet is comfortable throughout the entire process.
  • Whether your pet is of the age to be spayed or neutered, or needs a different surgical procedure, our doctors and staff are here to help you and your pet through the process.
