PiezoShockwave Therapy

Slide What is shockwave therapy? The PiezoWave Vet delivers shockwave therapy: a simple, safe and effective way to provide pain relief, healing and restore mobility. PiezoWave Vet uses acoustic (sound) waves to mechanically stimulate deep tissues in a focused and precise manner and is used for the treatment of acute and chronic bone, joint and tendon injuries. The PiezoWave Vet is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that naturally stimulates the healing process at a cellular level. PeizoWave Vet treatments are very well tolerated by patients, making sedation very rarely necessary. Slide

Slide Treatments Most treatments take 10-30 minutes depending upon the patient size and number of sites being treated. Treatment schedules vary based upon the patient and the condition being treated but are often weekly with a series of 3-6 treatments required to achieve lasting improvement. Although some patients may be sore post-treatment, the dosing can be adjusted to minimize or eliminate post-treatment discomfort . Indeed, the majority of patients are noticeably better even after a single treatment. Slide
