Pharmacy Policy
At All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, our goal is to provide your cat with safe, effective, and reliable medications while keeping our veterinary team available for the care you depend on.
No. We are unable to submit prescriptions to outside pharmacies on your behalf. The only exception is our online Covetrus pharmacy, available through our website.
We are happy to provide you with a written prescription, which you can then submit to the pharmacy of your choice.
Our records are electronically linked with Covetrus, which means faster processing and fewer delays. We also trust Covetrus because:
- Medications are consistent and authentic
- Products are handled and stored correctly
- Compounded drugs are safe and reliable
In Nevada, a veterinarian must personally authorize every prescription and refill. With the large number of requests from various pharmacies, this process takes significant time away from appointments, surgeries, emergencies, and direct client support. By submitting prescriptions yourself, you help us stay focused on caring for cats in our community.
We will notify you and provide a written prescription for you to submit to the pharmacy.
